Website Hosting

Hosting provides computer space (a “hosting server”) for your website and its connection to the Internet. This is separate from creation of your website or registration of your domain name (your website’s address, or URL).  Hosting fees are usually paid monthly and can vary from free to hundreds of dollars per month. Some websites require features not provided by all hosting services.

We can and would like to provide your hosting, on our dedicated servers in Tampa and Phoenix, which we rent from reliable U.S. based hosting companies. We researched extensively and chose them because of their reliability, high security, excellent 24/7 support, “fat pipelines” (fast connections), extra features, and moderate price. You only have to deal with us and “the buck stops here”.

We provide several levels of hosting services. With “basic hosting” you get:

1. We handle all tech support (8AM-6PM weekdays and almost any other time in case of emergency).

2. We will, if you wish, set up and handle changes in e-mail addresses, or you can easily do this yourself. You get almost unlimited e-mail addresses for no extra charge (There are limitations on email volume and number of connections). We can help you get your e-mail working on your computers, and in setting up mailing lists (so you can do bulk emails), auto-responders, forwarders, etc.

3. You have access to basic web statistics on visits, page views, referrers, search terms, etc.

4. We provide you with all hosting information. You can take control of your site at any time.

Our “premium hosting” provides the following additional services:

Automatic monitoring of your website every 5 minutes, lets us know if your site goes down so we can take action if needed (rather than your hearing about it after it has been down for who knows how long!). Guaranteed uptime is 99.7% (excludes occasional routine maintenance between midnight and 6AM). Your hosting is free for the next month if we don’t meet this target.

6. Sophisticated web analytics (statistics) which enable you to track exactly where your visitors are coming from, what pages they visit or exit from, and so on (free up to 25,000 page views per month). If you purchased this independently, it would cost you hundreds of dollars per month all by itself. Note: This program is much superior to Google Analytics.

7. With our premium hosting service, we continue to make changes in the website, up to one half hour of work per month, at no extra charge. Nearly all changes are made within one business day. This alone is worth more than the hosting fee. More extensive changes would be done on a project or hourly fee basis, however, one half hour per month is more than enough for any ordinary updates needed.

There is a one-time charge of $45 to set up premium hosting, plus a recurring charge of $45 per month. So your cost for our premium hosting service is $90 for the first month and $45 each month thereafter.

Basic hosting service is $19.95 per month (plus the $45 set-up charge the first month) so it is $64.95 for the first month and $19.95 each month thereafter.

Hosting fees are charged automatically each month to your debit or credit card. Cancellation requires 30 days written notification. Hosting fees for e-Commerce sites (with shopping carts) are higher. Fees and services are subject to change without notice.

We strongly encourage you to take advantage of the premium hosting offer. We want our clients to make regular changes and additions to their sites, as this enhances site effectiveness and can help improve search engine rankings. If you succeed, we succeed, hence the moderate price.

We also offer customized super-premium hosting for a small additional fee, often the ideal choice for companies with 25-100 employees, or having unusual or critical requirements not provided by a typical “shared hosting plan.” And we can provide managed dedicated server hosting – where you have an entire server to yourself for your website or websites – starting at $225 per month – for high volume websites.
